Isla started feeling suicidal at the age of 11 and started self-harming at the age of 13—drugs followed soon after that. After a highly traumatic experience, Isla went into survival mode. At Yes We Can Youth Clinics, our team of over 500 dedicated healthcare professionals tirelessly transforms despair into joy for young people, whom we call "fellows," and their families. Our environment is warm, loving, safe, and discreet. For many teens and young adults aged 13 to 25, we offer a lifeline when other treatments have failed. Most of our fellows have faced significant mental health issues, addictions, and behavioural problems and have often tried various treatments before finding us.
Our method has shown remarkable success: more than 70% of our fellows no longer require specialised care after completing a 10-week residential program followed by at least ten weeks of aftercare.
